Each year, Kelley Blue Book puts together a list of the cars it thinks will have the lowest cost of ownership over the next five years. Here are the cars that walked away winners this year.

Best Subcompact Car: 2017 Chevrolet Spark

Best Compact Car: 2017 Toyota Corolla
The Corolla was refreshed for the 2017 model year. KBB's estimate for five-year ownership costs is $32,251.
