And in four colors a piece.
But these new phones go beyond looks alone.
They also have artificial intelligence inside.
That's meant to keep that cascade of annoying alerts you get each day to a minimum.
Only surfacing the ones that are most important to you.
And both phones use the small second screen to show you these notifications.
HTC says it never wants to take your whole screen hostage.
There are other things the new phone can do too, unlock your phone and even take or reject calls with your voice Look at your calendar and warn you if you won't have enough battery life to last the day.
Turn off your usual 6:00 am alarm on weekends if you forget.
And alert you to terrible weather.
The phones are also meant to learn over time.
So the difference between the two.
The U Ultra is the larger flagship phone and has a 5.7 inch screen, a 12 ultrapixel main camera, and a 16 megapixel selfie cam.
There's also a version that comes with extra storage and has a sapphire crystal screen.
The slightly smaller U Play has a 5.2-inch screen and 16 megapixel cameras on the front and back.
Both phones go on pre-sale January 12th and come in white, pink, blue and black.
