Fitbit buys Pebble, Apple may get early movie rentals

An FTC complaint claims smart toys are violating privacy The toys in question are the My Friend Cayla doll and the IQ Intelligent Robot. The complaint states these toys record conversations and transmit data without parental permission or clear language regarding how the data is used by software maker Nuance Communication.
