This is the M7V solid-state drive or SSD from Plextor.
Now this is a standard internal drive that can be used to replace regular hard drives like this one right here for a laptop, or this one here For desktop.
Now you're going to do that because SSD, even slow ones, runs so much faster than regular hard drive.
And that means your computer will run a lot better.
Now among SSDs though, this M7V here is not the fastest ever seen, nor is it the slowest.
But, it's definitely one of the most affordable.
Now this top capacity of 512 gigabytes here costs just $146.
Very good deal.
Another thing is the new M7V here has very high endurance, meaning you can write a lot to it before it becomes unreliable.
Now again, on this particular one here, if you write 50 gigabytes to it per day and every day, it would take you some 20 years to wear it out.
So yeah, it will last you a very long time.
But of course it will not start lasting until you get it and use it, so if you still have a computer that runs on a regular hard drive, it's time to upgrade.
I did that to all the computers, five, maybe six years ago, and have been happy ever since.
But that's only because I've done them all.
