The partnership between pornography and virtual reality has been in the works for a long time.
But just this week the video streaming and sharing site Pornhub unveiled an entire section devoted to VR porn.
Corey Price, the vice president of Pornhub said in a statement users' wildest fantasies will come alive as they slip into a world of heightened titillation.
The site is working with an adult movie studio elegantly named BaDoinkVR to provide users porn shot in 360-degree video.
Currently there are 27 videos available.
As part of the promotion they are also giving out the first 10,000 users VR goggles for those who request them.
Historically, the pornography industry has been very influential in directing what media format audiences go on to consume en masse.
Some argue that was the reason why VHS tapes took off instead of Betamaxes.
In addition to Sony's Playstation, it's the reason why we all watch movies on Blu-ray instead of HD DVD.
The fact that the industry is once again backing another media platform, can be crucial for the VR industry, in gaming mainstream success.
As of how, Pornhub garners 60 million viewers a day.
And one study from the University of Texas found that 46% of men, between the ages of 18 and 39, watch porn every week.
The other 54%, of course, are lying.
