LG expands on smart TV offering with Ovation

LG has added long-running arts and entertainment channel Ovation to its list of smart TV programming.

LG has added long-running arts and entertainment channel Ovation to its list of smart TV programming.

Ovation, which has been on Australian pay TV for 15 years now, will be available from the LG smart TV dashboard later this month.

It will be available as a subscription channel with a variety of payment models, including a AU$10 monthly fee or a AU$27 quarterly subscription to the channel, as well as individual programs purchased on demand for between AU$1 and AU$6 each.

Ovation programming will include:

  • Classical and world music

  • Literature

  • Documentaries

  • Performances of opera, dance and visual arts

  • International pay-per-view events.
