Lenovo shows off a smart-shoe concept in San Francisco during its Tech World 2016 show.
Apparently your shoes can do a lot more than make jogging more comfortable. These Vibram shoes were made using smart technology from Lenovo.
Like many smart devices, each shoe has a built-in battery and supports wireless charging. So all you have to do is put it on a charging pad during the night and by the morning, it's ready to go again.
Lenovo says the F2 can not only track your steps and activities but also provide fitness advice and training courses.
These shoes let you monitor the number of calories burned when you're playing a sport.
Based on your activity level, you can get news and other content that fit your lifestyle.
With built-in 3D scanning and pressure detection technologies, the F2 helps create a customized insole that delivers the best level of comfort, says the company.
The F2 smart shoe is Lenovo's big step into the internet of things, the idea of connecting more devices and objects to the web. It's unclear when and where the shoes will become available or how much they'll cost, however.
