Like previous R versions, the C8.R is a real wide boy.
Chevy will also run a second car with a more traditional yellow and black livery.
Chevrolet debuted it's new Corvette C8.R race car alongside the 2020 Corvette convertible street car.
No drivetrain details were shared during the reveal of the race car, but it's a safe bet to say that a massaged V8 engine sets up shop in the middle of the chassis.
Driver Tommy Milner was on hand in Florida for the debut of the Corvette C8.R race car.
When the Corvette C8.R makes its competition debut in January, it'll be wearing Michelin tires.
