Techrules Ren is a supercar EV with a turbine range extender
It uses a diesel turbine to recharge its battery, and the interior is made of denim. OK...

This is the Techrules Ren.
It's a Chinese supercar EV with one very interesting feature.
Instead of using a gas engine as a range extender, it uses a diesel turbine. Or two diesel turbines if the buyer prefers -- if there ever is a buyer.
Techrules claims it'll go more than 700 miles on about 20 gallons of diesel.
Its electric motors put out more than 1,200 horsepower.
Instead of a regular roof, there are bubble pod things above each of the three seats.
The fin out back looks positively racy.
The inboard suspension setup is shown off through a clear panel.
Being a fancy car in the 21st century, the side mirrors are now cameras.
The aerodynamics make for a positively aggressive car.
If you think the exterior is wild, wait for the interior.
There we go.
Yes, the seats are made of denim. Denim!
