MG E-Motion concept brings electric elegance to Shanghai
And if it comes to production, MG wants to sell it for a surprisingly low price.

The MG E-Motion concept debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show.
It packs an electric drivetrain of unspecified capacity, but MG estimates a range of more than 300 miles.
It should accelerate to 62 mph in less than 4 seconds, as well, which is properly quick.
Underneath the flashy exterior, it's a four-seater.
The doors don't open normally because it's a concept -- why settle for normal doors?
No matter how the doors are, though, this car is very easy on the eyes.
I see a bit of new-gen Mazda in those headlamps, too.
MG hopes that, if it comes to production, it can be sold for less than $40,000.
That would be insanely cheap for a car that performs this well.
Even if the range were halved, I'd still consider making a move on one -- provided MG sold cars in the US, which it does not.
