Yes, a Land Rover can tow 121 metric tons.
For those of you using Freedom Units, that's about 267,000 pounds.
This is a standard 2018 Discovery Td6 diesel with the optional towing attachment.
Its tow rating is a still-meaty 7,716 pounds, but it's nowhere near 267,000 pounds.
Yet, the Discovery did just fine.
I wouldn't try this at home.
Seriously, don't. You will void your warranty until the heat death of the universe.
Thankfully, Land Rover can trash its own cars and not worry about warranty coverage.
If you see a very cheap used 2018 Discovery for sale in the near future, though...
