BMW plans to unveil the production versions of the 8 Series and M8 Gran Coupes in 2019. This is our first peek at the new models.
We've been excited about the return of the 8-series since the coupe concept debuted last year.
But we might be even more excited for this big four door Gran Coupe concept.
It's aggressive, muscular, and brutish in the best big M traditions.
BMW hasn't given us much in terms of specs but we're expecting a turbo V8
We're also guessing it gets all-wheel drive.
We're also guessing it's going to be hilarious fun when the driver aids are turned off and the exhaust flaps opened.
We're glad to see the giant protruding grilles from the coupe concept gone.
BMW hasn't given us much in terms of expected production dates or pricing, but we're guessing soon and really expensive.
Now, if only BMW would cram the 6.0-liter V12 from the 760 under the hood of this thing...
The M8 Gran Coupe concept isn't groundbreaking but it's a direction we can get behind.
