2022 Toyota GR Supra A91-CF
The new 2022 Toyota GR Supra A91-CF Edition arrives in dealers this fall.
This limited-edition model will capped at just 600 units.
The model, which features a new duckbill spoiler and carbon-fiber body kit doesn't receive any mechanical changes under the hood.
Toyota says the new aero bits are functional, adding up to additional downforce, but the company isn't saying how much, or how the sports car's performance will be impacted.
This model will only be available to North American customers.
You can probably guess how the duckbill spoiler got its name.
The special-edition model will be available with the 3.0-liter turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engine.
Under the skin, you'll continue to find that the fifth-generation Supra shares a lot with the jointly developed BMW Z4 convertible.
The engine appears unchanged, meaning buyers should expect 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, good for 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
The A91-CF will be offered in Phantom matte-gray paint, as well as Absolute Zero White and Nitro Yellow.
For the 2022 model year, all GR Supras receive a few changes, including full-screen Apple CarPlay integration on premium-audio models. Heated seats also become standard equipment for 3.0-grade models, and there's a new red cabin color scheme offered on 3.0 Premium models, too.
