The 2019 Nissan Rogue is a tech leader among compact crossovers

With the exception of full-size pickup trucks, the Nissan Rogue is the best-selling vehicle in the US.

The 2019 Nissan Rogue received its last major update in 2017, and 2019 brings more standard tech.

Base prices for the Rogue span between $24,800 and $32,740.

Gasoline-powered Rogues are EPA-rated for as much as 26 miles per gallon in the city and 33 mpg highway. Hybrid models can return up to 33/35 mpg.

The Rogue is powered by either a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque or a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine paired with a 30kW electric motor with a total system output of 176 horsepower.

Standard driver-assistance technologies include pedestrian-detecting collision-mitigation braking, lane-keep assist, blind spot monitor, automatic high beams and rear cross-traffic alert.

Inside the Rogue, you'll find standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on a seven-inch touchscreen.

There's also plenty of space in the Rogue for up to five passengers. Cargo capacity maxes out at 70 cubic feet.

The Nissan Rogue also offers available adaptive cruise control with steering assist and a nine-speaker Bose premium audio system.

New for 2019 is standard Rear Door Alert, which can sense whether you've left something in your back seat, and can chirp the horn as you're walking away to remind you to remove it from the vehicle.

The 2019 Nissan Rogue is currently available at dealers nationwide.
