If you're a long-distance runner like me -- or you have a loved one who is -- you know the importance of staying hydrated throughout every mile. The same goes for any hiker, cyclist or even those who just like to go for really long walks. Toting along a water bottle (or two) throughout some of these activities can be a nuisance. That's where hydration packs come in handy. The 50-ounce CamelBak HydroBak is my preferred choice. It's a no-fuss pack that carries a liter-and-a-half of water, and it has a small zipper pocket to store items like your phone and your keys. It makes a great gift for the runner or outdoor enthusiast in your life.

Why it's a great gift: The HydroBak is an affordable hydration solution built for everyday use. Going out for a long walk or run? Grab your HydroBak and keep your hands free. The included 1.5-liter Crux reservoir is easy to remove and fill with water, and the hose has an on/off switch to prevent water from leaking out when it's in the locked position. The front zipper pocket is small, but I'm still able to fit an iPhone 11 Pro Max and a set of keys comfortably inside. The pack itself weighs less than a pound without water, and it has easily adjustable shoulder and chest straps to keep it from bouncing around too much while running.

What you'll pay: The CamelBak HydroBak with 50-ounce Mil Spec Crux Reservoir retails for $57.50 but can be found on Amazon for around $51.
