10 eBay Crash Sale deals still available

The e-commerce site decided to capitalize on Amazon's crash during last year's Prime Day.

eBay hasn't been discreet about its plans for Prime Day 2019 or throwing shade at Amazon. The company said it's ready with summer discounts, deals and doorbusters if its rival can't handle the heat.

"If Amazon crashes (again), eBay will drop even more 'can't miss' deals on things shoppers actually want, including gaming consoles, smart home tech, backpacks, name-brand sunglasses, and more. Stay tuned…" the company said in a press release Friday.

Amazon didn't end up crashing during Prime Day on Monday and Tuesday but reportedly experienced some "technical difficulties," which led eBay to unlock more deals.

Last year, Amazon's Prime Day hit a speed bump when the mass influx of traffic crashed the site. So eBay decided to go head to head this year with a Crash Sale. Free shipping is included, and no membership is required.
