Toshiba 55WL863

The Toshiba 55WL863 is a very accomplished set with a pleasing design, sharp HD pictures and excellent 3D images from Blu-ray discs. But poor Internet features, a bad remote and unimpressive standard-definition pictures relegate it to second best.

Toshiba Regza 42VL863

Toshiba's Regza 42VL863 LED TV uses passive 3D technology, and it looks very promising. It's not short on other intriguing features either, so it's got us rather excited. Fingers crossed it won't be ludicrously pricey.

Toshiba Regza ZV 47ZV635DB

We think most people will be very happy with the Toshiba Regza 47ZV635DB. It's big but not too large to fit in a normal lounge. It's also got the features that most people want in a TV, and it does a superb job with high-definition images from Blu-ray and other sources. While it's not the most exciting telly ever, it's a solid performer

Toshiba Regza 52Z3030D

A visually impressive TV that does a great job with most things you throw at it. Sadly, we're not thrilled about the shallow viewing angle and slightly muddy black levels, both a result of the backlight

Toshiba Regza CV 32CV711B

The 32-inch Toshiba Regza CV 32CV711B lacks the range of inputs and refined picture quality you'd expect from a main TV, but it might be a good bet for a second telly for the kitchen or bedroom.

Toshiba 40RL858B

Stylish looks and impressive performance with HD material can't hide the fact that the Internet features on the Toshiba 40RL858B are below par and its onboard speakers are weak.

Toshiba Regza SL 46SL753B

The Toshiba Regza 46SL753B manages well with HD video from Blu-ray discs, but Freeview HD material suffers from a distinct lack of detail, and we weren't sold on the TV's sound quality either. It's a good TV if you want a set for gaming and watching HD movies, but make sure you've got an external sound system

Toshiba Regza WL 40WL753B

The 40-inch, 1080p Toshiba Regza 40WL753B puts in a decent performance for an LED-backlit TV at such a competitive price. Alas, its Internet features are whack.

Editors' Choice

Toshiba Regza 32RV635DB

The Toshiba Regza 32RV635DB is a really likeable TV for a fairly sensible price. A 1080p resolution is totally unnecessary on a 32-inch TV, but that's hardly an issue when you aren't paying through the nose for it. This TV will appeal to PlayStation 3 owners who want 1080p gaming, and probably to Blu-ray fans who don't have room for a larger TV. We also think the simple remote with large buttons makes this a good choice for older people or those who don't aren't technically inclined

Toshiba Regza RV 40RV753

At £450, the 40-inch Toshiba Regza RV40RV753 television represents good value for money. It's capable of producing impressive pictures from both high and standard-definition material.

Toshiba 52WM48P

Toshiba's 52WM48P is a good value buy -- after all, you're getting 52 inches of screen for under £2,000. The design is modern and stylish, the connectivity is excellent and it's fully equipped for high-definition pictures. However, it's facing particularly stylish competition from Samsung in the rear-projection market and the Toshiba just loses out in comparison

Toshiba Regza 42WLT68

A fantastic television for high-definition material that does a pretty good job with standard-definition television too

Toshiba Regza 37CV505D

The Toshiba Regza 37CV505D is a strong, entry-level TV that has a lot to offer. We'd suggest this TV is ideal for people who aren't interested in keeping up with the Joneses but just want a decent 720p TV

Toshiba Regza AV61 32AV615DB

The Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB easily outclasses its budget competition. Those seeking great performance at a budget price should put it at the top of their shopping list

Toshiba Regza 32AV635DB

Inevitably, given its startlingly low price, the Toshiba Regza 32AV635DB doesn't exactly set new AV standards. But that doesn't stop it outperforming and offering more features than the vast majority, if not all, of its ultra-cheap peers, making for a real bargain that puts yet more pressure on traditional budget brands like Goodmans and Ferguson

Toshiba Regza 46ZV555DB

We had high hopes for the Toshiba Regza 46ZV555DB's Resolution+ upscaling technology, but we just weren't that impressed with its performance when dealing with real-world material. The HD quality of this TV is great though, and sound is good enough for most applications -- just avoid the bass-enhancement feature. Overall, we liked the 46ZV555DB but, for the price, we think you'd be far better off with one of Toshiba's slim bezel TVs, such as the Regza 40ZF355D

Toshiba Regza 37C3030D

A worthy television for people looking to enter the high-definition market, offering very good HD picture quality and enough features to satisfy most users -- and Freeview performance is decent too
