How to undo accidentally scrubbing video on the new Apple TV

A touch-enabled remote makes it all too easy to jump around when watching a video.

The top half of the new Siri Remote for Apple TV is touch-enabled. When watching video, you can swipe across the pad to jump ahead or back in the video.

It's a cool feature, when you intend to use it.

But then there are those times when you pick up the remote and accidentally swipe across the pad and skip ahead 10 minutes. Frustrating.

In the past, when I've done this, I've painstakingly taken the time to get back to the right spot.

Thanks to a simple tip from iDownloadBlog, however, I can now undo accidental scrubbing with a press of a button.

The next time this happens to you, press the Menu button on the remote. Just once. The Apple TV will immediately jump back to the right place, and begin playing from that spot.
