The new Ford Fiesta is already a rally car, and it's amazing

Your average Ford Fiesta this ain't.

This is the all-new Fiesta, dressed up in World Rally Championship specification.

More than 95 percent of this car was designed from scratch to meet the latest FIA regulations.

If you're not a fan of obscenely large wings and complicated aerodynamics, best to turn around now.

It's going to need all the aero trickery it can handle, because its 1.6-liter engine puts out 380 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.

Power reaches all four wheels by way of a six-speed sequential transmission and an active center differential.

The suspension is tunable in both rebound and compression, and it's packing four-piston brake calipers with ventilated discs.

The drivers at the helm for the 2017 WRC season are Sebastien Ogier and Ott Tänak.

Ogier is the reigning world champion (from his time with Volkswagen), and Tänak is the WRC Driver of the Year.
