The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster gives you both fun and sun
Slotting between Mercedes-AMG's coupe variants, the GT Roadsters bring plenty of power and poise, but they left the tops at home.

Did you really not expect the Mercedes-AMG GT to become a roadster?
The Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster will be available in two flavors -- the GT Roadster and the GT C Roadster.
The GT Roadster packs a 469-horsepower, 4.0-liter V8 and will hit 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
The GT C Roadster bumps those figures up to 550 horsepower and 0-to-60 in 3.7 seconds.
Its fabric soft top can be had in three colors -- black, red and beige -- and can open or close at speeds up to 31 mph.
Top speed on the GT C Roadster is a ridiculous 196 mph.
The GT C Roadster rocks a number of pieces that the GT Roadster lacks, like an adjustable exhaust, rear axle steering, adjustable dampers and an electronically controlled differential.
The car can be had in 11 exterior and 10 interior colors, although not all at once, duh.
The AMG GT and GT C Roadsters debut at Paris this month, and go on sale in late 2017.
Pricing is yet to be determined.
