For the 2018 model year, Dodge will add the Durango SRT to the lineup, featuring a 6.4-liter V8 engine.
The Proven 392 cubic-inch engine will produce 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
Together with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Durango SRT will hit 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds according to Dodge.
To cover the quarter mile, the Durango SRT has a National Hot Rod Association time of 12.9 seconds.
In addition to being quick, the Durango SRT will also be able to pull an impressive amount with a max towing capability of 8,600 pounds.
To look the part, the Durango SRT gets a specific hood with functioning scoop, fascias, grille, wheel flares and rocker panels.
To improve handling, an active damping system, stiffer springs and thicker antiroll bars are added to the SRT model.
Brake upgrades come in the form of Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers in front and four-piston calipers out back.
Pirelli Scorpion Verde all-season tires come standard, while three-season Pirelli P Zero rubber is available as an option.
Look for the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT to hit dealers in late 2017.
