Porsche blacks out with the 2017 911 GTS lineup
Blacked-out trim, more power and a few additional upgrades. What's not to like?
If you're not content with the power coming from the standard Porsche 911 lineup, perhaps the GTS is more up your alley.
The GTS is available on five different variants: 911 Carrera Coupe, 911 Carrera Convertible, 911 Carrera 4 Coupe, 911 Carrera 4 Convertible and 911 Targa 4.
All five variants sport the same 450-horsepower, turbocharged H6 engine.
For those of you keeping score at home, that's 20 horsepower more than the GTS models with the naturally-aspirated H6.
All five variants can be optioned with a seven-speed manual or Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox.
GTS models are set apart visually by 20-inch black wheels, a whole bunch of blacked-out trim and badges galore.
The 911 Targa 4 GTS features a black targa bar, as well.
Additional standard equipment includes PASM sport suspension, sport seats and the Sport Chrono Package.
The excellent dual-mode sports exhaust is also included.
The 911 GTS family goes on sale in March.
