Zero points for company-name originality, Nikola. Zero.
Well, this is certainly interesting.
Nikola's NMC One is a $375,000 electric semi truck cab.
It promises a 320-kWh battery, enough for 1,200 miles of range.
Even better, it doesn't require a plug, as it has gas-powered turbines that constantly top off the battery.
The claim is it puts down 2,000 horsepower and more than 3,500 pound-feet of torque.
The NMC Zero, on the other hand, is an off-road vehicle similar to a Polaris RZR.
It's packing 520 horsepower and a 50-kWh battery.
It's supposed to reach 60 mph in 3 seconds flat.
This one's a little cheaper, coming in at $42,000.
It's packing solar panels on the roof, too, because it's the future, duh!
These are clearly just renderings. Real prototypes won't be shown off until later this year. But they'll still take your money right now!
