Mini Clubman All4 Scrambler concept grafts off-road bike character onto four wheels
The Clubman All4 Scrambler concept takes characteristics from off-road bikes and grafts them onto a four-door compact luxury vehicle. We didn't say it wasn't a strange idea.
If you've ever thought, "I wish more cars were modeled after motorcycles," here you go.
Mini based its Clubman All4 Scrambler concept on the BMW R NineT bike seen here on the left.
It features a raised ride height and knobby tires, two things that are common in the scrambler community.
The car also sports a unique roof rack, rally lights and a paint job borrowed from the motorcycle's gas tank.
Yet, it's still a Mini Clubman, so there's more than enough space inside for you and all the crap you need to haul around.
Mini made no mention of performance, so it's likely the car is bone stock under the hood.
Inside, the concept resembles a well-built shoe.
It's almost entirely brown, with Alcantara and Nappa Leather throughout.
I'm really digging on those knobby tires.
The rally lights are pretty great, too.
If you happen to be in Italy, you can catch this concept in the "flesh" at the Valentino Park Motor Show now in Turin.
