Built to commemorate the performance brand's 50th anniversary, the GT C Edition 50 is a limited-edition sports car sure to thrill.
Mercedes-AMG has finally brought the GT C trim level to the GT coupe, after unveiling it on the convertible variant.
GT C packs its own version of AMG's 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8.
Output is pegged at 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, right between GT S and GT R.
GT C picks up the wider bodywork of GT R, as well.
Also standard is the rear-axle steering system from, you guessed it, GT R.
At launch, GT C will only be available in Edition 50 trim, with regular models going on sale later.
GT C Edition 50 will be limited to -- surprise, surprise -- 50 units for each roadster and coupe.
This package includes matte paint, black chrome trim highlights, unique badging and a black-and-silver interior motif.
There's no word yet on pricing, but GT C goes on sale this fall.
