McLaren festoons 570GT with carbon feathers for April Fools' Day
This one's for the birds.
This is ridiculous.
For April Fools' Day, McLaren built a 570GT covered in feathers.
The feathers are each 7 centimeters long and have carbon fiber veins.
And you thought painting a car in yellow was garish.
There are some 10,000 feathers on this car, not that I spent all afternoon counting or anything.
McLaren claims the hand-applied finish takes about 300 hours to complete, which I would not doubt.
Imagine having a job where you spend three weeks assembling an April Fools' Day joke. Sounds pretty great.
