Kia radically updated its Optima midsize sedan for the 2011 model year, including offering three new power trains, a direct-injection 2.4-liter, turbocharged direct-injection 2-liter, and a hybrid.
Kia's designers came up with new design language for the Optima, blending subtle curves and creases artfully. We especially like the sporty kink in the C-pillar.
These wheels contribute to the futuristic look of the car, but there is no guarantee they will be available on production versions of the car. The red brake calipers may also be a show trick.
Kia developed a new platform for the Optima, with a redesigned suspension. Dual exhaust tips give the car a sporty look.
Cabin tech includes a Bluetooth phone system and iPod integration standard. More advanced tech options, available at different trim levels, include navigation, an Infinity audio system, and voice command for phone and MP3 players.
