Jaguar's 2017 F-Type SVR hits 200 mph and is more comfortable
The first Jaguar to wears the SVR badge arrives featuring more power, a lighter curb weight, a 200-mph top speed and better on road comfort.

The new Jaguar F-Type SVR more powerful supercharged V-8 engine produces 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.
It reaches 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, and features a top speed of 200 mph. .
Developed by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations, the F-Type is the first Jaguar to wear the SVR badge.
In base form, the F-Type SVR is 55 pounds lighter than the F-Type R thanks in part to a titanium exhaust system and lighter wheels.
With optional features such as carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber roof and additional carbon fiber exterior pieces, the SVR can be up to 110 pounds lighter than the F-Type R.
The eight-speed ZF automatic transmission features special calibration for even quicker shifts in the SVR.
Carbon ceramic brakes are a $12,000 option on the F-Type SVR.
The F-Type SVR starts at $125,950 and will arrive in dealers this summer.
While the exhaust on the F-Type R is loud, the F-Type SVR's titanium exhaust is even louder and weighs 35 pounds less than the R's system.
Programming for the electric power steering, torque vectoring, all-wheel drive system and dynamic stability is also new helping to optimize the SVR's performance.
