In the eye of the beholder: The most out-there car designs at SEMA
We'd break the site if we tried to put every single wacky car, truck or bike design in this gallery, so we hand-picked some of our favorites from the aftermarket show here in Vegas.

This Maserati has a unique vinyl wrap that gives it a brushed appearance, except blue.
I call it "Brushed Denim," even though that's nowhere near accurate.
Flat black and loads of copper accents? This might be my favorite car of the whole show. Plus, that turbocharger...
This bike is insane.
Staring into the skull in front of the handlebars might turn you insane, as well. I didn't stick around long enough to find out.
Matte red has never looked better than it does right here.
Add some matte black pieces, like this hood ornament, and baby, you've got a stew of awesome a-goin'.
This BMW M2 is rocking a proper matte red design, as well.
This McLaren P1 has so much flake in its paint, it actually looks dirty. It also looks dirty, but in the non-literal way.
I'm...not entirely sure what's going on here. As far as I can tell, it's a showcase of Native American contributions to North American history from the colonial period until today. On a hood.
This drift-spec Mustang sports a matte blue exterior with some JDM-style aesthetics on top.
That wheel fitment is positively bonkers, as well. It's a very well put together car.
No matter where you're standing, this Pontiac G8 looks different than it does from any other angle.
I wouldn't even know what to call this color.
Since I had to pull something from the big pickups gallery, I settled on this very busy lifted Ram's design.
If you like your hot rods a bit more old school, this should be right up your alley.
I wish my Volkswagen had this paint job. Seriously.
I don't know what's going on with this Corvette.
The paint splatter effect looks pretty cool in person, especially with the ultra glossy coat of paint (or vinyl?) beneath it.
It's like an onion. It's got layers.
It always seems like motorbikes feature some of the craziest paint jobs.
This one is certainly no exception.
