Holy crap, Faraday Future finally unveiled its first electric car!
It's been a rocky year, but Faraday Future finally introduced their first production EV, and it's a doozy.
Faraday Future debuted the 1,050 horsepower FF 91 at CES in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 3, 2017.
Faraday has had many problems as of late, including unpaid debts, an unfinished factory and multiple high-level employees leaving the company.
Still, it came through tonight, showing off the production EV to a packed house.
The FF 91 has some spectacular specs, like over 1,000 horsepower, a range of 378 miles and a 0-60 mph time of 2.39 seconds.
If you're keeping score, the Tesla Model S P100D with Ludicrous mode scoots to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
Faraday hasn't been clear on charging protocol, except to say that the FF 91 has the ability to add 500 miles of range in an hour.
Faraday wants the FF 91 to be the leader in autonomous driving and has equipped the EV with 3D lidar, 10 high-definition cameras, 13 long and short range radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
But all we've seen it do so far is park itself.
The long wheelbase is helped in the turns by a rear steering system, to the tune of 3.5 degrees.

The front end is super sleek...all it needs is a sequential red light, just like the KITT car of childhood.
