Infiniti redesigns the Q50 sport sedan into the Q50 Eau Rouge concept. Its wider, lower, and more aerodynamic curves are sculpted with carbon fiber. A collaboration with Infiniti’s Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team, we also expect the performance to have been boosted to match the exterior and interior upgrades.
I assumed that this GT Stinger concept would be a Kia-badged, tiger-nosed Veloster Turbo variant like the ones I saw at SEMA 2013, but the automaker states that under this 2+2 coupe's hood is "a turbocharged 2.0-liter that pumps 315 horsepower to the rear wheels." Consider my interest piqued.
Following Mercedes-Benz, the next automaker to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo racing simulator/game will be Toyota, with its own Vision Gran Turismo concept. With a very Supra-esque profile, this concept should also make an appearance in the PlayStation game.
It looks like Acura will be merging its TL and TSX sedans into one model to rule them all, simplifying its lineup. The TLX Prototype that will be showcased at Detroit will be a thinly veiled preview of what to expect from a production car later this year. BMW continues to split the 3 Series sedan and 4 Series coupe model number split with the hot M4 performance coupe. How fitting that this will debut across the show floor from the Lexus RC F coupe?
Additionally, the new 2 Series coupe should also make a North American debut. This is the two-door variant of the 1 series compact sedan.
I'm not a fan of the current Chrysler 200, but these leaked photos of the next 200 pictures have grabbed my interest. Looking to be based on the Dodge Dart's underpinnings, this 2015 should bring to the model a sizable styling and performance bump.
