GENEVA -- This is it: the 2016 Ford Focus RS!
It's a high-horsepower, hotted-up version of Ford's otherwise practical hatchback.
Beneath that hood lurks a 315-horsepower, 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine.
The styling is rather more aggressive than your average Focus.
Big fog lights and front fascia definitely provide plenty of visual aggression.
Fog lights, standard.
Big Brembo brakes, also standard.
Unlike the typical Focus, and previous performance Fords, the RS sends its power through all four wheels.
The rear diffuser features an F1-style light mounted low.
It will exclusively be offered as a five-door.
Big spoiler is a natural.
The Focus RS will be in dealerships later this year. Still no idea of pricing, but look for it to fall somewhere under $40,000, which converts to around £26,200 or AU$51,100 at current exchange rates.
