Ferrari readies the new 488 Challenge for the races
Ferrari revealed the new 488 Challenge race car just in time for the 2017 Ferrari Challenge race season. Alterations to the drivetrain, handling electronics and aerodynamics help it hustle around the track quickly.

Like the road car, the 488 Challenge is powered by a 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 engine.
The rear of the 488 Challenge is similar to the 488 GTE race car that won the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.
The front bumper is specific to the 488 Challenge with a bigger splitter for more downforce, and inverted rakes for better air flow to the radiators.
The 488 Challenge will be ready to take the Ferrari Challenge grid next year when the series celebrates its 25th anniversary.
