Elvis Presley's BMW 507 is resplendent in all its restored glory
Missing for nearly half a century, the Bimmer that The King drove around Germany during his military service has been found and restored.

Elvis Presley took possession of this BMW 507 in December 1958.
The paint, the wheels, the radio -- it's all the same as it was.
But this wasn't rolled out of a museum.
This car was actually "lost" for a good 50 years.
When it was found, it contained all its original parts...except for the motor and transmission.
It was returned to Germany with its body in rather bad condition.
A group managed by BMW set about restoring the car to factory-fresh condition.
Its restoration took about two years to complete.
It will be displayed at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Not bad for a car that was discovered inside a pumpkin factory.
