Clarion Builds Acura NSX to cross Barrett-Jackson auction block for the American Red Cross

The Clarion Builds team purchased the 1991 Acura NSX in May 2015 and began a full rebuild on the high mileage vehicle.

A fresher 3.2-liter V6 engine was swapped in from a 2004 Acura NSX with a salvage title.

Also making its way over from the 2004 donor car was the six-speed manual transmission.

With a CT Engineering supercharger and a host of other modifications, Clarion Builds says the NSX makes approximately 465 horsepower. 

The NSX's aluminum body was repainted Blu Caleum metallic.

The Clarion Builds NSX rides on a set of staggered Rays Engineering Volk ZE40 wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Brake upgrades include a StopTech big brake kit featuring four-piston calipers in both front and back, which clamp down on drilled rotors. 

To improve handling further, a KW Variant 3 coilover suspension system was installed.

Additional visual enhancements include a Downforce body kit that includes a NSX-R carbon fiber hood and diffusers. 

Technology upgrades include a Clarion head unit with a 7-inch touchscreen display, navigation and Apple CarPlay capabilities.
