Redesigned for 2017, the Buick LaCrosse cuts a sleek and sophisticated figure.
The design is influenced by the Avenir concept we saw at the 2015 North American International Auto Show.
The new grille is set off by the return of the red, silver and blue Buick badge.
The LaCrosse is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine, good for 310 horsepower and 282 pound-feet of torque with cylinder deactivation to save fuel while cruising on the highway.
An optional Dynamic Drive Package costs $1,625 and adds adaptive suspension, 20-inch wheels and a Sport mode.
The Driver Confidence Package 1 is available with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert and Lane Change Alert.
The top of the line Premium trim gets features like Front Automatic Braking and Full Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Control.
Buick's IntelliLink infotainment system comes on an 8-inch touchscreen with a 4G LTE wireless hotspot and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The EPA estimates that the LaCrosse returns 21 miles per gallon in the city, 31 on the highway and 25 combined.
