These lovely, diamond-turned 20-inch wheels will set you back an additional $3,975.

Composite brakes, however, are standard.

Raw carbon fiber highlights are everywhere on this car, making a strong performance statement.

Mirrors, too, are carbon.

Flared fenders are a strong hint at the power delivered through the rear wheels.

The color is called "Appletree Green," and we're quite fond of it.

Functional hood vents give the 6-liter V-12 a little more room to breathe.

Taillights are carved into the bodywork.

The 6-liter V-12 is hand-built, and situated rearward in the engine compartment for better weight distribution.

It looks like it shouldn't fit.

Doors open with an upward sweep, as on other Astons.

Seats are comfortable, but not the sportiest.

The rear seats are best used by those who are extremely vertically challenged.

Interior design is clean and simple.

This (optional) wheel is shared with the One-77, a $1,020 option. We like the materials, but not the square shape.

Simple and clear traditional dials for speed and engine rpm.

Small, inset LCDs provide more information.

Buttons on the left for making calls, and for tweaking suspension settings.

On the right, cruise control and the ubiquitous "sport" button.

The center console looks very sophisticated.

The upper display swivels out of the dash on engine start, here showing the rearview camera.

Tweeters arise from the dash as well.

LC stands for Launch Control, a first for Aston Martin.

These flat buttons feature a vibrating haptic effect that we weren't particularly fond of.

Transmission is shifted using the four buttons along the top, or paddles behind the wheel.

Charging options aplenty, with two USB ports and two lighter-style power outlets.

The interface is simple and very limited in functionality.

Two sets of golf clubs? Should be no problem.
