2024 Chevrolet Trax Is Larger, Actually Attractive
The second-generation Trax is the Chinese-market Seeker crossover with a new name.

Chevrolet this week introduced the next-generation 2024 Trax crossover.
It's a fair bit bigger than the last Trax, growing 11 inches in length and 2 inches in width. However, it picks up a sleeker silhouette, because the roof is now 4 inches lower than before.
The rear legroom alone expands by 3 inches, while cargo capacity is up by about 12%.
In addition to those swollen dimensions, Chevy gave the Trax a new look, and it's pretty great.
It bears more than a passing resemblance to other new Chevrolet SUVs, like the Equinox and Blazer.
The 2024 Trax gets its motive force from a 1.2-liter turbocharged inline-3 gas engine.
It'll produce 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and it mates to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
All-wheel drive is not available, but that's no problem that a good set of winter tires can't solve.
The 2024 Trax will start at $21,495 for a base LS, including an unspecified sum for destination.
