2022 Volkswagen Taos: What you see is what you get

There's plenty to love about the 2022 Volkswagen Taos.

This interior is a bit of a mixed bag, but it's mostly likeable. 

Handsome and clean, the Taos should age well, visually at least.

Motivation is provided by a 1.5-liter turbo-four that provides 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. 

An 8-inch infotainment screen is available in the Taos. 

This compact SUV is huge inside, offering nearly 66 cubic feet of luggage space with the rear backrest folded down.

The backseat is huge, too.

This Taos rolls on swanky 18-inch wheels. 

Three trim levels are offered: S, SE and SEL.
