2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 gets a nice little makeover
Now in its second generation, the subcompact crossover gets some new, sophisticated proportions.

Say hello to the Mercedes-Benz GLA. It's all-new for 2021, with some new design elements and an excellent powertrain.
My tester has the AMG Line and Night packages, giving the SUV a different grille, gloss black exterior trim and slightly more aggressive styling.
All-wheel drive is a $2,000 price premium over the standard front-wheel drive.
The GLA250's turbocharged 2.0-liter I4 pushes out 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission gets the power down to the pavement.
Inside, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is optional, upgraded from the standard 7-inch screen. A center touchscreen of the same size runs Mercedes' easy-to-use MBUX infotainment system.
Cargo space is low for the class, with just 15.4 cubic feet of space behind the second row, Fold those seats down and the GLA gets a bit more competitive with 50.5 cubic feet.
A $1,700 Driver Assistance Package includes adaptive cruise control, steering assist and lane-departure warning.
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA starts at $37,280 including $1,050 for destination.
