The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE53 Coupe looks a whole lot better than before

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE53 Coupe isn't for everyone, but it's certainly better looking than the previous generation.

The new GLE Coupe only comes in AMG form, with the GLE53 being the "entry-level" model.

The GLE53 has a turbocharged and electrically supercharged inline-six engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, putting out a total of 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.

This particular GLE53 has a Toyota Camry's worth of options, bringing the total to $104,564.

The GLE53's interior, while a little boring in all black, is high quality and a great place to be.

These optional 22-inch wheels provide a choppy ride but extreme cornering capabilities.

Mercedes says that SUV-coupe buyers are typically four to five years younger than regular SUV buyers.

You sacrifice a little cargo space and rear headroom with the Coupe, but if you're a fan of the looks it's a fine sacrifice.

The GLE53 is probably the most well-rounded of the current crop of "coupeovers," as we here at Roadshow like to call them.
