The second-generation Land Rover Range Rover Evoque launches for the 2020 model year with small changes on the outside, but big changes inside.
Like the original Evoque, the 2020 model features a wedge shape and fast roofline.
Bigger changes take place inside with huge leaps in material quality to be more fitting of the Range Rover name.
Powering First Edition models is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque.
Routing power to all four wheels is a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Together the pair returns an EPA estimated 20 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
Thanks to a slightly larger wheelbase, the Evoque's backseat gains in the legroom department, but still suffers with headroom because of the sloping roof.
The Evoque's trunk is also wider, offering up 21.5 cubic feet of cargo space. When the backseats are folded, space grows to 50.5 cubic feet.
Taking care of infotainment in the Evoque First Edition is the InControl Touch Pro Duo system with dual 10-inch center touchscreens.
The Evoque First Edition features a 10-speaker Meridian audio setup, navigation, Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also both standard.
The 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque First Edition starts at $56,850, not including $995 for destination.
