2019 Kia Forte: Stinger styling inspiration for Kia's small sedan
Sportier looks, a continuously variable transmission and plenty of tech highlight the 2019 Kia Forte.
The 2019 Forte's headlights and grille carry heavy Stinger styling inspiration.
An 8-inch touchscreen handles infotainment functions.
Optionally available is a wireless phone charging pad.
For audiophiles, a 320-watt Harman Kardon sound system is optional.
The only engine available in the 2019 Forte is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque.
A CVT with "shift points" is bolted to the four-cylinder engine.
Kia expects the drivetrain combo to deliver 35 mpg combined, which is about 3 mpg higher than the outgoing Forte.
Tech features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control will be optional in the 2019 Forte.
