2019 Honda Civic Sedan: Small visual updates and friendlier tech
For 2019, the exterior of the Civic gets light updates, including a new front bumper and blacked-out grille for a slightly more aggressive appearance.
Out back, a chrome strip has been added to the lower portion of the bumper.
Wheel designs are also updated for 2019. This range-topping Touring model gets 18-inch wheels with gray-painted spoke insets.
Changes to the interior of the 2019 Civic are limited to new dash trim and a redesigned cup holder.
To quiet the cabin further, Honda added additional sound insulation to the Civic for 2019.
The biggest upgrade for 2019 involves the Civic's Display Audio infotainment system, which gains additional physical shortcut buttons and legit volume knob.
The Touring also comes standard with embedded navigation, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Base LX and Sport Cvic models are powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four with 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque, which is still available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The rest of the lineup, including the Touring trim, packs a punchier 1.5-liter turbocharged four with 174 horses and 162 lb-ft working exclusively with a continuously variable transmission.
The 2019 Honda Civic Touring sedan begins at $27,300, not including $920 for destination.
