The 2019 Chevrolet Impala is tech- and value-packed
It's the final model year for Chevy's full-size Impala sedan, but the big car will leave a sensible impression.
The current Chevrolet Impala has been on sale since 2013 and will cease production at the end of 2019.
The Impala nameplate has seen two cancellations before, but at one point was America's best-selling car.
Base prices for the 2019 Chevrolet Impala start at $28,020 and top out at $36,720 plus $875 for destination.
The Impala comes with either a 197-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower.
The four-cylinder Impala gets 22/29 city/highway mpg while the V6 gets 19/28 city/highway mpg.
All Impalas use a six-speed automatic transmission connected to the front wheels.
There's plenty of room inside for up to five occupants and 18.8 cubic feet of cargo.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on an 8-inch touchscreen along with 4G LTE Wi-Fi, satellite radio and a six-speaker stereo.
Optional driver-assistance features include collision-mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
