A midcycle refresh confers small updates to creature comforts for the smallest Lexus crossover.
You may not notice, but this is a new Lexus NX.
The 2018 NX features updates to both the take-it-or-leave-it front grille and front bumper.
The rear end sports longer taillights and a new lower bumper cover with integrated tailpipes.
Otherwise, the ol' gal is about the same... on the outside, at least.
Under the skin, there's a new adaptive suspension and more noise-mitigating materials.
The major changes are all inside the car.
The infotainment system grows from 7.0 to 10.3 inches, and the USB ports have higher amperages for faster charging.
The HVAC controls have been redesigned and simplified, too.
Both NX variants also now come standard with Lexus Safety System +, a suite of active and passive driver aids that includes forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert and auto high beams.
It's still unclear when the 2018 NX will come to the US, and what its pricing will be.
