2018 Jaguar E-Pace is a Sporty Spice crossover for the 21st century
With a bevy of connected tech and some sharp looks backed by sharper engines, the E-Pace is likely to repeat the successes of its larger sibling, the F-Pace.
The F-Pace was successful, and Jaguar's hoping lightning will strike twice with the 2018 E-Pace.
The E-Pace packs two different engine options.
They're both from the modular Ingenium family.
The base E-Pace packs a 2.0-liter I4 good for 246 horsepower, whereas the E-Pace R-Dynamic bumps output up to 296.
All-wheel drive is standard, as is a nine-speed automatic.
Four different modes are available on all models -- Normal, Dynamic, Eco and Weather.
The interior is standard Jaguar fare, including the grab handle on the center stack.
The 10-inch InControl Touch Pro infotainment system offers navigation on all but the lowest trim.
A 4G Wi-Fi hotspot is standard on all but the lowest trim, as well.
When it goes on sale in 2018, it'll carry a base price of $38,600.
