Toyota's 86 860 Special Edition promises pure driving pleasure
Special-edition model only comes in two colors -- I like Supernova Orange best.
Tetsuya Tada-san is the man behind the Toyota 86.
At the end of March, Toyota will offer this 2017 860 Special Edition, shown here in Supernova Orange.
The rear features a black wing, all in the name of better aero and more aggressive looks.
The Supernova Orange paint comes with black racing stripes.
Under the hood is the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine, developed in conjunction with Subaru.
The Special Edition gets 17-inch wheels and LED fog lights.
Inside, passengers are treated to dual-zone climate control.
Although offered in an automatic, the six-speed manual transmission is the better choice.
Supportive black leather seats gain contrasting stitching as part of the special edition package.
The 880's heated seats are welcome additions for those in colder climates.
