2017 Ram 1500 Copper Sport shines for Chicago Auto Show debut
Ram will roll out its second limited-edition for the 2017 1500 Sport pickup at the Chicago Auto Show. A new Copper Pearl paint job highlights the Ram 1500 Copper Sport. Only 3,000 units will be built wearing the special color.
Copper Pearl is the second color to grace the Ram 1500 Sport special edition lineup for the 2017 model year. The first was Ignition Orange.
Also special to the special edition are a body-colored grille, black decal Sport performance hood, black Ram's head grille badge, black tailgate badge and body-side badges.
For two-wheel drive models, the Copper Sport rides on 22-inch polished aluminum wheels.
Copper Sport models with four-wheel drive get 20-inch wheels.
Only 3,000 units will be built painted with the Copper Pearl paint job.
The interior gets copper-colored accent stitching and trim pieces.
An Alpine premium sound system with nine speakers and subwoofer is standard.
The Copper Sport will only be available with crew cab models that have the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine.
The limited-edition truck will begin arriving in dealerships later this month.
