2017 Hyundai Santa Fe: A few improvements go a long way
The latest three-row crossover from the Korean automaker gets a bit of a makeover in the front and rear fascias, giving it a much more modern look than last year's model.
Welcome to the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. This year the front grille, headlights and fog lights have been tweaked for a more sophisticated look.
Hyundai has a reputation for offering a lot of bang for the proverbial buck, and the Santa Fe is no different, with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard.
The Santa Fe is motivated by a 3.3-liter V6 engine, good for 290 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque.
Power goes to the available all-wheel power train through a six-speed automatic transmission.
The top of the line Limited Ultimate model starts at $41,150, but that gets you heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats and a USB port for the third row.
The rear gets new LED taillights and a different design for the dual exhaust outlets.
Included on all but the lowest trim line are blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and lane change assist.
LED fog lights are available in front as well as high-intensity discharge headlamps.
The available 8-inch touchscreen features crisp graphics and an intuitive interface.
The Santa Fe features high-quality materials and an appealing cabin design.
